In short, although we do not encrypt the e-mail attachments individually, the whole e-mail envelope (including the attachments) is transmitted over a secure TLS connection from our local web application to your provider’s mail server.

Terms & Conditions

Turnaround Time And Collection/Delivery

1.1 Turnaround times and rush charges do not include time in transit to/from the laboratory.
1.2 Rush options may not be available during peak times, please call in advance to check availability.
1.3 CosTech offers a free pickup and delivery service in local areas, please call for availability.
1.4 Tracked courier collection is available upon request for Private Crown & Bridge work.

General Work And Remakes

2.1 All cases are guaranteed to fit the model based on the impression provided.
2.2 All work is completed to instructions written on the docket.
2.3 Should a finished case not reflect the given instructions, we will adjust or remake the case free of charge.
2.4 Terminated cases, for any reason, will be subject to a full charge if the case is completed (regardless of despatch status). If the case is yet to be completed it will be half-charged.
2.5 If we deem an impression to be unacceptable we will request new impressions to be taken. If the prescribing dentist asks us to continue with the original impression, any subsequent remakes will be charged for.
2.6 When a remake is required, if the remake instructions and/or preparation differ from the original, it will be treated as a new case and both cases will be charged.
2.7 When sending a case back for alterations or to be remade, please send back the original impressions, models and restoration as well as new impressions if required. Failure to do so will result in the case being treated as a new case, and both will be charged for.
2.8 Once work has been fitted, it is considered accepted and must be paid for.
2.9 Remake cases will be charged if restorations fit the original model, but not the remake impression.
2.10 If you return a case but do not wish a remake, all dockets, models, preps, trays and restorations must be returned with a written justification. A technical manager will assess the case and a credit may be issued only if all elements necessary are returned and if a fault is proven to be CosTech responsibility.
2.11 CosTech does not accept liability for loss of surgery time under any circumstance.
2.12 The dentist takes full responsibility for prescribing the correct material/alloys in accordance with their regional regulations.

Guarantees

3.1 All Guarantees covers the appliance and not the dental treatment.
3.2 NHS Crown & Bridge work carries a 1 year guarantee, Private Crown & Bridge work carries a 5 year worldwide guarantee. Should the appliance fail within the guarantee period it will be remade free of charge to the original instructions, any corresponding dental treatment is not covered by this guarantee.
3.3 Due to their nature, removable appliances are not subject to guarantee.
3.5 Additions and alterations to the appliance are not covered by this guarantee.

Payment Terms

4.1 Payment must be received within 28 days from the statement date.
4.2 Failure to make full payment of all invoices within 28 days of the statement date will result in forfeiture of any discounts on that invoice.
4.3 Any discount offers may be withdrawn without notice.
4.4 Any account which enters over 1 month in arrears may be suspended until full payment is made.
4.5 If overdue amounts are not paid after issued reminders, the debt may be sent to court and any corresponding charges will be added to the overdue amounts.
4.6 Custom made items are considered an exception to standard consumer laws relating to returned goods, as such refunds will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Should a refund be granted, credit will be allocated to the account. Cash, transfer or cheque refunds will not be issued. If a return is authorised, all items must be returned in the same condition in which you received them to be eligible for a refund.
4.7 Any product(s) that has/have been purchased and delivered with a promotional Free Gift (including patient-targeted marketing packs), must be returned with that Free Gift in order to receive a full refund for the original item purchased.

Cross Infection

5.1 As per GDC and BDA Good Practice guidelines, all impressions must be free from blood, disinfected and all cotton pads removed before sending.
5.2 Should we receive a case which we believe not to have been disinfected, we will contact the dentist, and possibly return the case unfinished.
5.3 Dockets must be placed outside the bag containing the impressions and stapled above the seal line to avoid leakage of disinfectant. We reserve the right to return unfinished cases with a wet docket since it constitutes a health and safety hazard for our staff.
5.4 Restorations returned by CosTech are NOT sterile.

The following terms and conditions apply to purchases made from the CosTech Dental Laboratory online shop.

These conditions set out the agreement between you and Dentalserve.net Ltd (company number: 03891771), using the trading name CosTech. Dentalserve.net Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number: 03891771 having our registered office at Unit 18 Lion Business Park, Gravesend, Kent, DA12 2DN, United Kingdom.

Please note in particular that: Orders shall only be accepted from persons who are 18 years of age or over and are intended for the use by dental professionals who are GDC (General Dental Council) Registered. In order for us to comply with the current EU laws you will be required to enter your GDC Number when making purchases from this website.

Information on this website

Whilst we try to ensure that all descriptions, details, including prices, displayed on this website are correct and up to date, we cannot guarantee that they are. Details may be updated from time to time and are subject to change. You must ensure that prior to placing an order you have checked all relevant details about the products and/or services you have selected. All products and services advertised are subject to availability.

Ordering

The information displayed on this website, including prices, does not constitute an offer to contract or enter into an agreement. When you place an order via this website for products and/or services your order shall constitute an offer for the goods and/or services selected.

We may, in our sole discretion, accept orders for goods from individuals located outside the United Kingdom and ship them overseas. If we accept your order, you will be liable to pay for all and any additional costs that we incur in order to facilitate your order, such as (without limitation) extra shipping or postage costs, import duties and/or additional taxes or expenses incurred due to complying with foreign regulatory requirements or laws. You will have an opportunity to cancel your order in case the additional costs are not acceptable.

Please note that when shipping products internationally, you should be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

Delivery & Charges

We can only deliver to a valid UK address unless otherwise agreed with us in writing. The Products will be delivered to you at the address you provided during the order process which may be an address other than the billing address

Delivery timescales cannot be guaranteed. There are certain circumstances where your order may be delayed:

  • Orders placed at the weekend or on a Bank Holiday will require at least one extra working day for delivery (for most postcodes, orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday will normally be delivered on a Tuesday).
  • Any unforeseen stock shortages. If this happens, we will notify you of any delay.
  • Certain remote postcodes will require additional time for delivery.
  • If we cannot obtain immediate security clearance for payment of your order. The security of our customers is paramount so these checks are essential to combat fraudulent use of payment and address details

We employ professional carriers. Nevertheless, you must examine the goods on arrival. If you are asked for your signature on delivery, you must examine the goods before signing for it.

All goods must be signed for by an adult aged 18 years or over on delivery.

The goods will be at your risk from the time of delivery.

Ownership of the goods will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of them including the cost of delivery.

Payment

You can make payment without registering on our website, however for a more accessible experience it is recommended you create an account.

Unless otherwise stated, all prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the products and/or services ordered plus any applicable delivery charges.

Payment will be taken from you when the order is placed.

Returns & Cancelling Orders

Cancelling before receiving a Confirmation Notice

You may cancel your order for the Products at any time prior to receiving a Confirmation Notice from us so long as you contact us in writing. Your cancellation notice must quote your name, address, the name or a description of the goods and services and your order reference number.

Cancellation after receiving a Confirmation Notice

You are entitled to cancel your Contract at any time prior to receiving the goods so long as you provide us with written notice or, if you have received the goods, so long as you provide us with written notice at anytime within 28 working days starting from the day after you received the goods. Upon receiving your cancellation notice, we will contact you and provide details of where you must return the goods and other relevant instructions. You must then immediately return the goods to us at your own cost and risk.

The goods must be returned to us in an unused condition in which you received them until such time as the goods are delivered back to us by you. You must return the goods with its original packaging and the original invoice. Any product(s) that has/have been purchased and delivered with a promotional Free Gift (including patient-targeted marketing packs), must be returned with that Free Gift in order to receive a full refund for the original item purchased. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the goods whilst they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation.

So long as you have complied with your obligations under this clause, we will refund the purchase price but not the cost of delivery (if any) to you via the same payment method you used to purchase the Products.

Exception to the right to cancel

You will not have a right to cancel an order for any goods purchased from us, in the following situations:

  • The Contract is for goods which are bespoke or have been personalised or which may deteriorate (such as certain tooth whitening items)
  • Goods have been damaged after delivery
  • Goods have been used or tampered with and or not returned in their original packaging.
Refunds

If you are not satisfied with your purchase you have the right to a refund within 28 working days starting from the day after you received the goods provided that you return the goods to us and we are reasonably satisfied that the goods have not suffered damage after delivery or in the case of faulty items, the items have not been misused or used other than in accordance with the instructions and the problem is not due to normal wear and tear.

We will not refund any delivery charges you may have paid when ordering goods from our website. You must return the goods to us at your own cost and risk.

Alternatively, at your option, instead of a refund (and subject to returning the goods as required under this clause) we will replace the goods with the same or a similar product (subject to stock availability).

Sometimes the product specifications from the manufacturer may change, in which case, if you request a replacement, we will do our best to offer you a substitute of the same or better quality at the same price. If you are not happy with the replacement, you can return the goods to us.

Upon receiving your cancellation notice, we will contact you and provide details of where you must return the goods and other relevant instructions. You must then immediately return the goods to us.

We reserve the right to refuse to issue a refund or replacement and to recover the cost in the event that the goods are found to have suffered damage after delivery or have been misused or used other than in accordance with the instructions or if the problem is due to normal wear and tear or if the goods have not been returned with its original packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Processing refunds

We will examine any returned goods and will notify you about your refund or replacement item via email within a reasonable period of time. We will usually process a refund or delivery of a replacement item as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day we confirmed to you via e-mail that you are entitled to it.  Refunds will be made by crediting the payment card or electronic payment account you used to purchase the goods.

Courses – Terms & Conditions

  1. All refunds are limited to the amount paid for an event ticket, less the value of any incentives.
  2. No refunds will be given within 4 weeks of the event date unless the event has been cancelled.
  3. If an event is cancelled all tickets will be refunded.
  4. All refunds will be made via the original transaction method.

Terms & Conditions

Turnaround Time And Collection/Delivery

1.1 Turnaround times and rush charges do not include time in transit to/from the laboratory.
1.2 Rush options may not be available during peak times, please call in advance to check availability.
1.3 CosTech offers a free pickup and delivery service in local areas, please call for availability.
1.4 Tracked courier collection is available upon request for Private Crown & Bridge work.

General Work And Remakes

2.1 All cases are guaranteed to fit the model based on the impression provided.
2.2 All work is completed to instructions written on the docket.
2.3 Should a finished case not reflect the given instructions, we will adjust or remake the case free of charge.
2.4 Terminated cases, for any reason, will be subject to a full charge if the case is completed (regardless of despatch status). If the case is yet to be completed it will be half-charged.
2.5 If we deem an impression to be unacceptable we will request new impressions to be taken. If the prescribing dentist asks us to continue with the original impression, any subsequent remakes will be charged for.
2.6 When a remake is required, if the remake instructions and/or preparation differ from the original, it will be treated as a new case and both cases will be charged.
2.7 When sending a case back for alterations or to be remade, please send back the original impressions, models and restoration as well as new impressions if required. Failure to do so will result in the case being treated as a new case, and both will be charged for.
2.8 Once work has been fitted, it is considered accepted and must be paid for.
2.9 Remake cases will be charged if restorations fit the original model, but not the remake impression.
2.10 If you return a case but do not wish a remake, all dockets, models, preps, trays and restorations must be returned with a written justification. A technical manager will assess the case and a credit may be issued only if all elements necessary are returned and if a fault is proven to be CosTech responsibility.
2.11 CosTech does not accept liability for loss of surgery time under any circumstance.
2.12 The dentist takes full responsibility for prescribing the correct material/alloys in accordance with their regional regulations.

Guarantees

3.1 All Guarantees covers the appliance and not the dental treatment.
3.2 NHS Crown & Bridge work carries a 1 year guarantee, Private Crown & Bridge work carries a 5 year worldwide guarantee. Should the appliance fail within the guarantee period it will be remade free of charge to the original instructions, any corresponding dental treatment is not covered by this guarantee.
3.3 Due to their nature, removable appliances are not subject to guarantee.
3.5 Additions and alterations to the appliance are not covered by this guarantee.

Payment Terms

4.1 Payment must be received within 28 days from the statement date.
4.2 Failure to make full payment of all invoices within 28 days of the statement date will result in forfeiture of any discounts on that invoice.
4.3 Any discount offers may be withdrawn without notice.
4.4 Any account which enters over 1 month in arrears may be suspended until full payment is made.
4.5 If overdue amounts are not paid after issued reminders, the debt may be sent to court and any corresponding charges will be added to the overdue amounts.
4.6 Custom made items are considered an exception to standard consumer laws relating to returned goods, as such refunds will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Should a refund be granted, credit will be allocated to the account. Cash, transfer or cheque refunds will not be issued. If a return is authorised, all items must be returned in the same condition in which you received them to be eligible for a refund.
4.7 Any product(s) that has/have been purchased and delivered with a promotional Free Gift (including patient-targeted marketing packs), must be returned with that Free Gift in order to receive a full refund for the original item purchased.

Cross Infection

5.1 As per GDC and BDA Good Practice guidelines, all impressions must be free from blood, disinfected and all cotton pads removed before sending.
5.2 Should we receive a case which we believe not to have been disinfected, we will contact the dentist, and possibly return the case unfinished.
5.3 Dockets must be placed outside the bag containing the impressions and stapled above the seal line to avoid leakage of disinfectant. We reserve the right to return unfinished cases with a wet docket since it constitutes a health and safety hazard for our staff.
5.4 Restorations returned by CosTech are NOT sterile.

Please note in particular that: Orders shall only be accepted from persons who are 18 years of age or over and are intended for the use by dental professionals who are GDC (General Dental Council) Registered. In order for us to comply with the current EU laws you will be required to enter your GDC Number when making purchases from this website.

Delivery & Charges

You are entitled to cancel your Contract at any time prior to receiving the goods so long as you provide us with written notice or, if you have received the goods, so long as you provide us with written notice at anytime within 28 working days starting from the day after you received the goods. The goods must be returned to us in an unused condition in which you received them until such time as the goods are delivered back to us by you. You must return the goods with its original packaging and the original invoice. Any product(s) that has/have been purchased and delivered with a promotional Free Gift (including patient-targeted marketing packs), must be returned with that Free Gift in order to receive a full refund for the original item purchased. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the goods whilst they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation.

So long as you have complied with your obligations under this clause, we will refund the purchase price but not the cost of delivery (if any) to you via the same payment method you used to purchase the Products.

Exception to the right to cancel

You will not have a right to cancel an order for any goods purchased from us, in the following situations:

  • The Contract is for goods which are bespoke or have been personalised or which may deteriorate (such as certain tooth whitening items)
  • Goods have been damaged after delivery
  • Goods have been used or tampered with and or not returned in their original packaging.
Refunds

If you are not satisfied with your purchase you have the right to a refund within 28 working days starting from the day after you received the goods provided that you return the goods to us and we are reasonably satisfied that the goods have not suffered damage after delivery or in the case of faulty items, the items have not been misused or used other than in accordance with the instructions and the problem is not due to normal wear and tear.

We will not refund any delivery charges you may have paid when ordering goods from our website. You must return the goods to us at your own cost and risk.

Alternatively, at your option, instead of a refund (and subject to returning the goods as required under this clause) we will replace the goods with the same or a similar product (subject to stock availability).
